“de.bour” is short for Deppy Bournazou.
Deppy is the founder and head designer of the brand. She has studied Mass Media and Communications, Fashion Design and Shoe Design in Athens, Greece.
In 2005 she founded “debour” as a line of handmade accessories for women, which she designed and produced. After being five years into business, it was time for shoe design to come into play.
For the past six years, shoe design and production has become the main subject of interest for the brand. It gradually developed into a family business, rather than a one-woman show as it used to be.
